A worker was wounded and a car was damaged soon after debris fell from a creating beneath design in Boston on Wednesday early morning, officers explained.
A 12-inch-extensive curtainwall embed fell from the exterior of 400 Summertime Avenue in the Seaport District and struck a motorist at the intersection of Congress Street close to 11 p.m., according to a Suffolk Building spokesperson.
“The driver of the auto was not significantly injured but was taken to the healthcare facility for evaluation,” the spokesperson claimed.
A photograph from the scene showed hefty destruction to the vehicle’s roof and windshield.
The incident also still left a design employee with a facial injuries, Boston law enforcement explained. There was no instant word on their problem.
Suffolk Development says it has voluntarily shut down the developing project “out of an abundance of caution” to carry out a complete critique.
